The Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Ladder Type Cable Tray is a heavy-duty cable management system constructed from a composite material of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), often also referred to as Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). The tray is manufactured through a continuous process called pultrusion, which yields a product with superior structural integrity and consistent quality.
The design features two parallel longitudinal side rails connected by transverse rungs at regular intervals, strongly resembling a conventional ladder. This open-lattice structure provides maximum strength for long-span applications and is the preferred choice for supporting large volumes of heavy power cables and large cable bundles.
FRP ladder trays are primarily specified for demanding industrial and infrastructural applications where the unique properties of the composite material offer significant advantages over traditional metal trays, particularly their non-conductivity and absolute resistance to rust and chemical corrosion.
